This chest has the substantial construction and finished wood drawer interiors associated with high-quality vintage furniture that its maker was known for.
Refinished in Farrow & Ball’s “Drab No. 41”, a beautifully nuanced, earthy neutral; a tobacco-taupe with subdued khaki and mossy undertones with the depth and patina of an old, timeworn color.
This dresser feels heritage-inspired, grounded, and quietly sophisticated, and would look particularly beautiful alongside aged woods, antique brass, warm stone, linen, leather, and creamy off-whites.
