The warm wood finish and visible age give this piece a much softer, more collected character than a newer reproduction. The wood has been softened and worn to a butter-smooth finish with beautiful variation and patina consistent with a genuinely vintage piece.
It’s sturdy frame and versatile design would work beautifully at the foot of a bed, beneath a large piece of artwork, in an entryway, or styled as a long low coffee table. Especially well suited to mid-century, organic modern, Scandinavian, rustic modern, or collected interiors.
