Beautiful vintage solid maple hutch by Vermont of Winooski, part of the highly regarded Whipple House Group collection, dating to the mid-century (circa 1950s–1960s). Crafted from solid rock maple, this piece is exceptionally sturdy, well-built, and designed to last for generations.
This design reflects the timeless Early American / Colonial Revival style, with warm amber-toned wood, classic brass hardware, and thoughtful functional details throughout.
The upper hutch features:
• Two small drawers
• Open center cubby with plate grooves
• Scalloped top detailing
The lower cabinet features:
• Three drawers with dovetail construction
• Double cabinet doors with charming louvered fronts
• Ample interior storage space
This two-piece hutch is good vintage condition with light, age-appropriate wear that adds to its character and authenticity.
Drawer interiors and rails have been polished and conditioned with orange oil to ensure a smooth finish and glide.
